At Subaru Winter Experience, we’re proud to call Dollar Lake and the Chanticleer Inn in Eagle River, Wisconsin our home. We’re devoted to giving you the best possible driving experience on the ice while you’re with us, but there’s so much more to the town known as the Snowmobile Capital of the World®.
Of course, snowmobiling is the signature pastime of Eagle River, with more than 500 miles of the best groomed trails that you can find anywhere. SnowGoer magazine has ranked Eagle River number one for “The Best Overall Snowmobiling Vacation Destination,” “Best Trail Riding,”“Best Trail Signing,” “Best Area, Catering to Families,” “Best Area Snowmobile Service Facilities,” and “Best Weekend or Daytrips.” Each year, the World Championship Snowmobile Derby visits Eagle River, bringing countless snowmobiles to the area.
But if powersports aren’t your thing, or nothing compares to your time behind the wheel of a new Subaru WRX STI, WRX, or BRZ, there are still plenty of ways to have fun in the snow. From skiing and snowshoeing to dogsled and carriage experiences, there’s something to do for just about anybody! Spots for Subaru Winter Experience 2020 have been filling up quickly, and we are very limited on our remaining One Day and Two Day Programs, but past Subaru Winter Experience and DirtFish Rally School attendees or persons with other types of driving experience have the option to sign up for our brand new Advanced Programs. Each Subaru Winter Experience course gives drivers the opportunity to try out brand new Subaru WRX STIs, WRXs, and BRZs on Dollar Lake in picturesque Eagle River, Wisconsin. Each car is equipped with specially studded tires to handle driving on the ice, while Sandell and the world’s best instructors from DirtFish are on hand to guide participants every step of the way, no matter their skill level. Subaru Winter Experience made its debut in Winter 2018 and is preparing for its third consecutive year at Dollar Lake this winter, with each year bringing more drivers than the last.
